Cinco de Mayo Fiesta: Friday, May 4th after school. Family and friends are invited!
No School due to Inservice: Monday, May 7th.
8th Grade Trip to Phoenix: Wed. May 9th - Fri. May 11th.
Declamation Day: Thursday, May 17th @ 1:30. Guardians/Parents are invited to attend. Every Middle School student will recite a poem in front of the student body!
6th & 7th Awards Ceremony: Monday, May 21st @ 1:30
- Guardians/Parents of students receiving awards will be contacted.
Practice for Promotion @ UMC and DNA lab at U of A: Ms. Smil. will be transporting the students by city bus.
Last day of school for all students: Thursday, May 24th. 1/2 Day release @ 12:30.
Report cards will be sent home, so please update address if necessary.
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony: Thursday, May 24th @ 5:30. Students are to arrive @ 5. The ceremony will be at University Medical Center in the auditorium. All family and friends of the students being promoted, are welcome. The ceremony will be approx. 2hrs. long, and there will be cake served afterwards. An invitation will be sent home soon!
* Please return Re-enrollment forms if you haven't already.
* Students who are invited for Title 1 tutoring, please return paperwork.
* 8th Graders: Please bring in two baby photos and a current photo. Photos must be in a digital format. Ms. Smil. will scan photos if they are sent to the school. Thank you!
